Matthias Flueckiger

 

 

Senior Lecturer Economics

Matthias Flueckiger is a senior lecturer in economics at the University of York. His research lies at the intersection of development economics, international trade and health economics. His projects cover a wide range of topics including the analysis of the interplay between climate, disease environment and development, the relationship between trade and development, as well as the causes and consequences of civil conflict and collective action.

Much of Matthias's work is focussed on Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe (in particular Germany).
