Anindya Bhattacharya

Anindya is a lecturer in the Department of Economics and Related Studies. Within the area of Development Economics, his research has been mainly on measuring the nature of rural local institutions and evaluating their impacts as well as on studying the consequences of subjective attempts at changing institutions. Units of observation for his research are in India. Another theme of Anindya's research in issues of developing countries is game theoretical analysis of “race-to-the-bottom” in labour standards.
