James Lees

Associate Lecturer, School of Physics, Engineering and Technology
Dr Lees has worked across a range of disciplines including: Astronomy, Nuclear Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Medicine, and History. His main research interests have been in developing scientific measurement techniques and next generation data storage technologies. However he also has a significant interest in the intersection of science and society; this includes examining how the public engages and interacts with scientific developments, the spread and persistence of scientific misinformation and conspiracy, and how to best introduce good practice when it comes to communicating scientific findings.
