Ambrose Field
Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Global Strategy
Ambrose Field is Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategy at the University of York. His research interests are in how societal challenges can be addressed through interdisciplinary work and in new approaches to the management of co-created solutions.
He has published and broadcast on the interface of technologies, humans and creative processes. Ambrose has postgraduate qualifications in the arts and social sciences, and a training in high-performance computing.
He is currently leading the creation of a Department of Architecture and the Built Environment at York, bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives on design for public good.
