Advances in healthcare have brought about major improvements in the quality of life. We are driving these advances by developing innovative technologies.

Our facilities range from electron microscopy, in particular a new cryo-TEM facility, and optical superresolution techniques to magnetic resonance imaging, where researchers are pioneering new methods for monitoring and understanding the complex pathways of the human body. Building on our expertise in nanoelectronics, plasma technology and nanophotonics, we are developing new methods for detecting disease, both in a healthcare setting and in the developing world.
