Global Partnerships

Our multi-layered partnerships are driven by a shared desire for high-quality research and teaching - underpinned by equality, research and societal benefit.

As a global university with an international commitment to public good, we pursue transformative research collaborations, student and staff exchanges, and institutional partnerships of equality.

We seek mutually beneficial partnerships which encompass a range of activities, including joint research, staff and student exchanges, and collaborative teaching.

Research at York is focused around seven research themes which align our academic strengths to best meet the grand scientific, social and environmental challenges of our time. Through collaboration and engagement on these themes with institutions across the world, we improve the quality of our international research, teaching and learning.

We take pride in our approach to establishing mutually beneficial collaborations of true equity. By forging cross-disciplinary collaborations with ambitious and innovative international partners, we address pressing and emerging environmental, social and economic challenges.
