Types of degree
We offer a range of programmes and different ways for you to study, whether it's through distance learning or on campus, full-time or part-time. Qualifications include: PhD, MPhil, iPhD and MA/MSc by research. We offer specific studentships and funded projects, or you can find a potential supervisor who matches your research interest.
A number of funding opportunities are available from our departments, the Research Councils UK, our Doctoral Training Centres, as well as scholarships for international students.

We're one of only a few universities in the UK to have an independent student-led organisation specifically for postgraduates.
