Choosing where to study for your postgraduate qualification is a big decision. To help you decide whether York is for you, we recommend that you come and meet us.

Our staff and students will be happy to talk to you about postgraduate life at York, and to answer any questions you may have. You can join us at an online event, meet us on campus or at a study fair near you.

Want to find out more about postgraduate study at York?

Drop by Greg's Place on Campus West to challenge our staff and Student Ambassadors at our fun garden games, ask questions about your next steps and chat all things postgrad.

If the weather is poor, the event will take place in SLB/004, Spring Lane Building - a short walk from Greg's Place.

Postgraduate Cafe

Wednesday 14 October 2026, 4pm to 6pm

Our next Postgraduate Cafe is all about PhD and what the first steps towards doctoral study are.

Come along to the Environment Building (Campus West) and hear from staff who will talk about finding, applying for, and funding PhD study and speak to current PhD students about their experiences.

And as ever, there'll be free tea, coffee and cake.

Come and explore our picturesque parkland campus on a tour guided by a postgraduate student ambassador.
