You should have achieved, or be on track to achieve, the equivalent of a UK lower second-class honours degree (2:2).

All visiting students from non-majority English-speaking countries are required to demonstrate their English language ability, regardless of their length of study or visa type. We accept a range of global English tests such as IELTS and TOEFL iB. Please note English language requirements vary by academic department and level of study.

IELTS requirements for Psychology: 6.5 with 6.0 in each component.

Undergraduate English language requirements

In general, we advise visiting students to choose from 1st-year modules. However, you might be able to take 2nd- or 3rd-year modules if you have completed the necessary prior learning.

Module choice and registration should take place as soon as possible in discussion with the Departmental International Officer. Learning agreements (if applicable) cannot be signed until this meeting has taken place.

Assessment is mainly by examination during the Common Assessment Periods at the end of each semester.
