Our partner accommodation provider, Student Castle is available to undergraduates for the 2025/26 academic year and is located in the heart of York and only a 22 minute walk from Campus West.
Featuring modern facilities and excellent on-site amenities, you'll live in a flat finished to a high standard that has been lovingly designed and includes a high-tech kitchen and beautiful bathroom.
Even though you're living off campus, you'll still be part of Vanbrugh College. You'll have access to shared social spaces, college events, and support on campus whenever you need it. There's also a university bus stop right outside, making it easy to get to and from campus.
You'll apply for this accommodation as usual through our portal at accommodation.york.ac.uk, but please note that your contract will be with Student Castle York, and all rent payments will be made directly to them. To secure your room, you’ll need to pay a £250 advanced payment once you receive your room offer.
