This module introduces operations management as it applies to a variety of organisations. It covers the activities of modern operations management and puts operations management in a strategic context. Operations Management is an applied subject. It’s concerned with creating the everyday products and services that we all consume – so it’s everywhere around us! Hopefully this means that you will all be able to engage with the subject and recognise its relevance and importance. Our “laboratory” is organisations.
