We offer specific support for Research Supervisors. Our Being an Effective Research Supervisor Tutorial or BEST is an online tutorial which covers six areas of supervisory practice. This is further complemented by The York Research Supervision Series of collaborative workshops.
We're also proud to be part of the UKCGE Research Supervision Recognition Programme - a scheme piloted in 2019, where three University of York Supervisors were recognised for their excellent supervision.
Our annual Researcher Festival is open to all postgraduate researchers, research staff, postdocs, interested academics. These events celebrate the excellent research taking place at York and to give you an opportunity to consider your career options.
In 2022 the Festival will take place in the week beginning 17th October.
