You should have achieved, or be on track to achieve, the equivalent of a UK lower second-class honours degree (2:2).

Additional requirements

Your application should be accompanied by a sample of recent written work in English on a relevant topic, previously submitted as part of a course of study (at least 1,500 words).

All visiting students from non-majority English-speaking countries are required to demonstrate their English language ability, regardless of their length of study or visa type. We accept a range of global English tests such as IELTS and TOEFL iB. Please note English language requirements vary by academic department and level of study.

IELTS requirements for Theatre, Film, Television and Interactive Media: 6.5 with 6.0 in each component.

Assessment is mainly by assignment submitted via the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) during the Common Assessment Periods at the end of each semester. Alternative assessments may be available; please contact the department to discuss your options.
