Module aims

To facilitate transition to the professional nursing register by ensuring that all statutory and regulatory requirements are achieved.

Module learning outcomes

To meet the programme requirements in relation to:

  1. Confirmation that the student has completed and submitted his/her Elective Practice Experience workbook.
  2. Confirmation from the sign-off mentor that the student can be entered onto the professional nursing register.
  3. Confirmation that the student has completed and submitted his/her Mandatory Training workbook; for Adult field of practice students this includes confirmation that they achieved the EU requirements for adult nursing.
  4. Confirmation that the student has submitted an accurate record of the nursing hours completed in practice.
  5. Confirmation from the Programme Leader that the student's Declaration of Good Health and Good Character has been completed following consultation with their supervisor.
