Module aims

This multidisciplinary module will introduce students to a range of global climate challenges through diverse seminar-based activities delivered by a range of disciplinary specialists. The module aims to equip students with the tools required to understand and address climate challenges to build climate resilience, including introducing mitigation and adaptation strategies. Students will engage with a range of approaches and perspectives through case study analysis and collaborative group work.

  • Apply fundamental understanding of global climate challenges across multidisciplinary boundaries

  • Work effectively in groups to analyse the feasibility and limitations of different approaches for building climate resilience

  • Examine policy context for global climate challenges change from a range of perspectives, including policymakers

  • Communicate climate and sustainability concepts effectively to specialist and non-specialist audiences

Module feedback
