Employability & Career Development

A large proportion of researchers now work outside Academia, so our Careers workshops reflect this, inviting you to consider how the skills you've developed can be transferable, and what roles they could be transferable to, while also helping you to use LinkedIn to build your profile and help land that next role.

These courses are a part of the York Researcher Development Programme, delivered and coordinated by the Research Culture & Researcher Development team, with support from colleagues across the university. Our programme is open to all Researchers at the University of York, with certain sessions specifically targeted towards Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) or Research Staff.
