Event details
Every conversation could be your next big opportunity, but only if you have the conversation! This workshop explores the art of making conversation and networking, through basic improvisation acting exercises.
You won't be standing in front of an audience, adapting Shakespeare - instead you will take part in a series of group and one-to-one activities, all inspired by improv techniques.
Throughout the session, we will build your confidence, while getting you to rethink the way you approach conversations, building small habits that will make you a better conversationalist.
The session is very interactive, but the interactions are low pressure, in a calm but fun atmosphere.
Learning Objectives
- Build your confidence to begin and hold conversations
- Become a better conversationalist, through practicing techniques like Active Listening
- Learn to enjoy the art of making conversation, and the benefits it can bring!
