Governance

The governance of partnerships and enterprise refers to:

  • the structures in place for decision making and accountability in relation to the direction and management of partnership and enterprise activity at the University; and
  • the framework of policies, procedures and codes of practice which apply to partnership and enterprise activity.

Decision making and accountability

The University’s partnership and enterprise activity is overseen by the University Partnerships and Enterprise Committee (UPEC), reporting to the University Senate which oversees all academic matters. UPEC advises the Senate and the University Executive Board on strategy, approves internal policy and monitors the performance of the institution.
