Like many organisations, the University operates in an environment of constant and increasing change, which means we regularly face new challenges and seek new opportunities. While this can make the University a dynamic and vibrant place to work, it can also present challenges.

The practical guidance, exercises and learning materials on these pages are designed to:

  • support you and your team in creating and navigating these changes
  • help ensure that any change is planned, implemented and embedded effectively.

The impact of change should be considered as part of every project.

Whether big or small, projects and changes happen best when we understand their purpose. This understanding helps us feel positive about the changes, positioning us to deliver them effectively and support our staff along the way.

These resources include templates, guides and frameworks. They’re designed to guide you through each phase of a project with easy-to-follow steps.

There are also templates specifically for IT projects which have a slightly different set of requirements.

Understanding and managing change

Change impacts and affects all of us differently, but understanding how and why we respond to this change can help us feel comfortable more quickly. How do I respond to change? How does change impact me? How does change affect others? Our resources aim to help you explore these questions.
