What's happening

On Tuesday 6 October 2026, Ken Badcock (Interim Vice-Chancellor) wrote to all staff to launch the refreshed University Strategy, which runs to 2035, and to introduce six priorities for 2026/27. He also thanked everyone who contributed their feedback to help shape our Strategy.

We'll be celebrating Black History Month 2026 throughout October.

Thanks to your efforts over the past two years, York is now ranked 26 places higher than we were in 2025, thanks to our extensive work in Academic and Employer contact gathering. We need to go further.
