Module aims

To broaden one’s knowledge in the philosophical areas covered by the chosen modules.To appreciate cultural differences in the engagement with philosophical issues. To develop the skills necessary for the effective communication of philosophical ideas and arguments.  

Module learning outcomes

To understand and assess philosophical arguments and theories in the areas covered by the chosen modules. To be able to discuss philosophical issues in different institutional and cultural settings.To communicate with one’s peers and teachers effectively.
