Module summary
This module is intended to develop the student's understanding of what is required in academic research, and provide support in preparing them for their dissertation. Students must attend regular meetings of the Philosophy Colloquium to experience first hand the presentation by visiting speakers of academic papers and discussion. The module will also give students experience of all aspects of dissemination of philosophical research, including speaking at a graduate conference at which each student will present and defend a paper.

Module aims
