Module aims

In this module you will draw on the creative and technical skills you have developed in previous modules to produce a substantial portfolio of music for screen. The portfolio may be a collection of independent scorings and/or collaborative work with film students from within the School of Arts and Creative Technologies. In this instance you would be assigned to a team of filmmakers from the start of the production process - including those involved with sound, design and direction - in order to create music simultaneously with their original work.

The focus of this module is on independent work; alongside tutorials your assigned external professional screen composer will offer advice and direction on your independent project.
