Module learning outcomes

At the end of the taught part of this project, students should have:

  • developed a method of working with other musicians
  • developed an understanding of the skills that are necessary in making chamber music work: the ability to listen to each other carefully; to know in detail your group's parts and not just your own; to plan effective rehearsals; to identify those elements of the music that require the most work and find a working method to overcome those difficulties.
  • developed interpretational skills appropriate to the repertoire.
