There are different fee levels for UK/EU and international students. Students who are liable to pay full cost fees are classified as “Overseas” students for fee purposes whereas those who are eligible to pay at the lower rate are classified as “Home” students for fee purposes.
Fee status is assessed at admission on the basis of the available evidence provided at the time and is usually based on your situation at the time of admission on your programme of study.
Our Admission Policy states:
"By accepting our offer of admission, applicants are accepting the University's decision in relation to their fee status. This decision is made on the basis of the available evidence at the time. Once candidates have enrolled with the University, decisions can only be changed in certain specific and exceptional cases and a change in fee status may or may not be backdated to the point of initial enrolment. Where applicants consider that our decision is incorrect, they are required to query this prior to enrolment"
For this reason there are very few scenarios where a student would be eligible for a fee status review and reassessment.
If you have enrolled but believe your fee status is incorrect or your personal circumstances have changed, please complete the form below and return by post or in person to the Student Hub (details below) or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
