New Students

Once you have enrolled and we know you have arrived at the University, it takes five working days after your attendance and arrival has been confirmed before the money is paid into your bank account. You can see if your enrolment and arrival has been confirmed to the Student Loan Company by logging into e:Vision and selecting the 'SLC Notification for 2018/9' option.  The 'Notification Date' shown is the date the University confirmed your enrolment and arrival to the Student Loan Company.

There are two ways for us to know that you have arrived:

1. Students living in University accommodation will have their attendance confirmed during the first week of term or after they have moved into their accommodation.

2. Students not living in University accommodation must go to the Fees Office, Market Square or Student Services, Student Hub, Market Square and present the following:

    • Your University card
    • Your notification of assessment from Student Finance England
    • Your SLC payment schedule letter
