Our researchers looked at the level of pharmaceuticals in York’s two local rivers - and their findings make for interesting listening.
...if you were to take a pill of a typical pharmaceutical, to get the same level from drinking water you’d probably need to drink the water for 400 years to reach the level that you would take from that pill in a day.
