Digital Accessibility

Applying universal design principles to create an accessible online campus for all.

What is digital accessibility?

  • Digital accessibility is about proactively designing our websites, resources and apps so they can be used by as many people as possible.
  • We can make our online services accessible to everyone by following the guidelines set by the 2018 Public Sector Body Accessibility Regulations (PSBAR) and applying universal design for learning principles.
  • On this page you can find out more about the regulations, what the university is doing about digital accessibility and how you can play your part.
