Alternatively, you can contact us to discuss your concerns.

The 1 hour project (external organisation) matches students with industry experts to make connections and share insights.

The Open University has a free online course, Just graduated, what next? which includes looking for work, and the transition to the workplace (including working remotely).

In addition to the support you can get from Careers and Placements, we are able to offer career coaching to some students and graduates, subject to certain eligibility requirements.

After graduation

Even after graduation you still have access to the majority of our services, including appointments (via Google Meet). Check out the alumni page for details of what's still on offer.

York graduates can continue to access Handshake to view vacancies, submit online enquiries via the Careers Information Team and book appointments. You will need to activate your account on Handshake and can update your profile and share it with employers if you wish.

Finally, all York graduates are part of the York Global Alumni Association, helping you to keep in touch with the University and other York alumni. you'll receive further information about this at graduation.
