The age of radicals: politics in an age of turbulence

  • Jamie Bartlett
  • Tuesday 28th November, 4pm - 5.30pm, ARC/014
  • Production team: Morgan Baker, Chloe Carson, Lucy Topham, Amara Barrett-Willett, Muizzah Harun and Kane Silver

Seminar Synopsis

Jamie will talk about his new book Radicals, which charts the rise of new radical politics. Based on two years of immersive fieldwork with the political fringes - the radical right, anarcho-capitalists, futurists and more - Jamie considers what motivates outsider politics, and whether the mainstream can learn from those who see the world differently.
