In 2025 the York School of Architecture and the Built Environment moved into its new home in the Piazza Building on Campus East, ready to welcome its first cohort of undergraduate students.
The west wing on the second floor of the Piazza building was refurbished to make improvements such as installing acoustic separation and creating a large open plan professional studio environment. On the ground floor we developed a new model making workshop and BIM suite, and improved the building infrastructure"
