Furniture and signage
As part of the University's environmental sustainability targets, we have limited the procurement of new furniture for use on campus and are instead fulfiling requests with existing items. However, we can continue to assist with the design and procurement of internal/external signage that is considered essential.

Where can I source furniture from?
If you’re a member of staff please use the University Warp It Reuse Scheme to source items for your office or department. Use the 'wish list' function to request furniture and we will assist where possible.
You can also use Warp It to advertise your department's unwanted furniture. If you haven't used Warp It before, you'll need to register for an account before you can request or advertise furniture.
Why use Warp It?
Warp It supports our sustainability goals by reusing unwanted items across the University, helping us find new owners for items that would otherwise be discarded for waste.
By reducing the need for new items, we minimise consumption and lessen the impact of waste. It's a win, win.

Specialist furniture
If you require specialist furniture we can provide furniture for people where an Occupational Health referral or doctor’s Statement of Fitness for Work has identified a need. This is in line with University policy. This requirement must have been discussed with your line manager and consideration made to utilise an existing adjustable desk or chair within your school or department. Further information on Occupational Health can be found on the HR pages.
