How can board games turn complex environmental challenges into engaging and meaningful learning experiences?  In this Play for the Planet seminar, Qiqi Feng, Founder of Enviroally and Lead Designer of PLANET-E, will share the design stories and educational applications of three environmental board games: Pacific Climate Adventures, Mongolia Climate Adventures, and PLANET-E.  Drawing on experiences in environmental education, game localisation, and interdisciplinary learning, the session will explore how environmental science, local contexts, and stakeholder perspectives can be translated into interactive gameplay. Through these three projects, Qiqi will discuss the opportunities and challenges of designing games that encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of sustainability.
