Event details
Are you interested in exploring nonhuman animals and the more-than-human world in non-standard academic and creative formats from different academic disciplines and perspectives? Are you considering a submission to the related 'Springs: The Rachel Carson Center Review' issue on animals and more-than-human worlds? If so, an upcoming hybrid session by the Leverhulme Centre for Anthropocene Biodiversity (LCAB) and the York Environmental Sustainability Institute (YESI) might be for you. On Weds, 11 November (12-1pm) in the LCAB collaborative space and online, we will provide some input on the Springs journal and how to unlearn some academic habits for more creative outputs, and give space for discussion and peer feedback to submission ideas for this or a similar outlet.
If you have e.g. a brief summary of your proposed submission that you'd like feedback on, please bring it along to the session or send it to us in advance: peter.sands@york.ac.uk (LCAB) and judith.krauss@york.ac.uk (YESI Resilient socio-ecological systems co-theme lead).
We look forward to seeing you!
