More about York Strengths

York Strengths is part of York Futures, the University's employability offer to students.

What is a 'strength'?

Can Do. Love To.

Strengths, in this context, are those skills or capabilities you are good at and love to do. Strengths are different to competencies, which can be learned and practised successfully, but which may not motivate or energise the user. When you are using a strength you feel energised - they are who we are at our best.

Take a look at the nine strengths below, click on the title to see a short video about each and start exploring what your strengths might be.
