A day to help you understand the expanding technology labour market, including national and local employers.
Programme:
11am Tech talks - a programme of short talks to give you an insight into the opportunities in tech and how to succeed in the recruitment process. Book your place in Careers Gateway.
- 11.00 Sky Betting and Gaming: representatives of Sky Betting and Gaming will deliver a talk on the Cyber Security industry; routes into the sector, what employers look for in graduates, and what it’s like to work in Cyber Security.
- 11.30 Fruition IT (IT Recruitment Agency): a representative from Fruition IT will discuss using a recruitment agency to find graduate level employment in the technology sector.
- 12.00 PilotWise: Rob Dixon, Director of PilotWise, local aviation training provider and drone company will be speaking about the work of PilotWise and the emerging developments and changes to the industry, as well as what employers in this sector look for in candidates.
