Tier 4 Students

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the conditions of your visa at all times.

Failing to comply with the conditions of your visa is a criminal offence and could result in your visa being withdrawn.

Your responsibilities include ensuring that you do not stay in the UK beyond the expiry date stated on your visa, unless you have made a renewal application. You must also adhere to the work conditions of your visa.

You should also co-operate with the University of York to ensure that it maintains its status as a Tier 4 Sponsor. This includes meeting the detailed requirements in the Tier 4 sponsored student Terms & Conditions as shown below.

Summer Term 2018/9

Location: The Student Hub is located on the upper tier in Market Square.

Dates & times: Monday to Thursday (during term time) between 9:00 - 17:00, Friday (during term time) 10:00 - 17:00,  Monday to Friday (outside of main terms) between 10:00 - 16:00

What do I need to do in advance? Please ensure that you have uploaded a copy of both your short term travel document and your BRP/visa (if you have collected this from the post office) to e:Vision before you attend.

What do I bring for verification? Please bring your visa (short term travel document & BRP), passport and your original academic qualification documents (transcript/certificate) supplied as part of your application. 

Nb. When uploading your BRP will need to upload both the frontand back of the card.

Who needs to attend? This event is for all new Tier 4 students who were issued with a CAS number for new programmes.

How long will it take? Verification should take no more than 10 minutes. 

Pre-sessional Courses 2018

Management 10 Week - Registration will take place on Monday 9th July between 9:30 and 15:00 in the Piazza Building, PZA/108 & PZA/109 

English Language Teaching 8 Week-  Registration will take place on Monday 16th July between 9:30 and 14:00 in the Law and Management Building, LMB/008

Management 8 Week - Registration will take place on Thursday 19th July between 9:30 and 15:00 in the Piazza Building, PZA/108 & PZA/109

8 Week Lower Level -  Registration will take place on Thursday 19th July between 9:30 and 15:00 in the Piazza Building, PZA/108 & PZA/109

8 Week General Level - Registration will take place on Thursday 19th July between 9:30 and 15:00 in the Piazza Building, PZA/108 & PZA/109

8 Week Higher Level- Registration will take place on Thursday 19th July between 9:30 and 15:00 in the Piazza Building, PZA/108 & PZA/109

8 Week Electronics - Registration will take place on Monday 16th July between 9:30 and 14:00 in the Law and Management Building, LMB/008

8 Week Music General- Registration will take place on Monday 16th July between 9:30 and 14:00 in the Law and Management Building, LMB/008

4 Week English Language - Registration will take place on Friday 24th August between 10:00 and 15:00 in the Law and Management Building, LMB/002X

What do I bring for verification? Please bring your Passport and visa (if you have a separate BRP)
