It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the conditions of your visa at all times.
Failing to comply with the conditions of your visa is a criminal offence and could result in your visa being withdrawn.
Your responsibilities include ensuring that you do not stay in the UK beyond the expiry date stated on your visa, unless you have made a renewal application. You must also adhere to the work conditions of your visa.
You should also co-operate with the University of York to ensure that it maintains its status as a Tier 4 Sponsor. This includes meeting the detailed requirements in the Tier 4 sponsored student Terms & Conditions as shown below.

Tier 4 Student Registration - Weeks 1 and 2
Location: The Spring Lane Building is located on Campus West near the Campus Central Car Park, if attending by bus you will need to use the stop at the Library bridge.

What do I need to do in advance? Please ensure that you have uploaded a copy of both your short term travel document and your BRP/visa (if you have collected this from the post office) to e:Vision before you attend.
What do I bring for verification? Please bring copies of your visas (short term travel document & BRP), passport and your original academic qualification documents (transcript/certificate) supplied as part of your application.
Nb. When uploading your BRP will need to upload both the front and back of the card.
Who needs to attend? This event is for all new Tier 4 students who were issued with a CAS number for new programmes.
How long will it take? Verification should take no more than 10 minutes.
Tier 4 Student Registration in the Student Hub from Week 3 onwards
Location: The Student Hub is located on the upper tier of Market Square
Dates & times: Monday to Friday (during term time) between 9:00 - 17:00, Friday (during term time) 10:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (outside of main terms) between 10:00 - 16:00
