The Research Excellence Training Team (RETT) aims to offer all researchers the support and development opportunities to excel in their chosen fields and careers.

We aim to provide you with hard and soft transferable skills to assist you in your studies and your career. You will find here information resources, relevant training and development resources and access to careers support planning.
We also help support annual public engagement events including the YorkTalks PhD Research Spotlight and Three Minute Thesis competitions.
