Overview

Eligibility

Available to members of staff - To request this service, please contact the Library & IT Help Desk.

The service provides a large amount of storage for the files and a file-browser type web interface to access them. Optional access control can be applied to restrict files to just members of the University. Webfiles works for all modern browsers. Folder owners will need an SFTP client to upload files.

Data protection

Webfiles is accessible from off-site so sensitive data should be password protected or stored elsewhere.

It is your responsibility to restrict content on your pages appropriately. You should inform us if the owner of the Webfiles folder changes or is no longer needed.
