We'll be celebrating University of York Accessibility Awareness Day, with various training sessions and awareness raising events for both staff and students, focusing on this year's theme ' Growing accessibility awareness.'
What is digital accessibility?
- Digital accessibility is about proactively designing our websites, resources and apps so they can be used by as many people as possible.
- We can make our online services accessible to everyone by following the guidelines set by the 2018 Public Sector Body Accessibility Regulations (PSBAR) and applying universal design for learning principles.
- On this page you can find out more about the regulations, what the university is doing about digital accessibility and how you can play your part.
