Are you a researcher feeling the pressure to publish, secure grants, and keep up with your field? It's easy to get lost in the demands of academic life and forget to take time for yourself.
This unique session is designed to help you de-stress and discover the connection between creativity and mental wellbeing.
You'll learn the fundamental techniques to create your own beautiful, hand-stitched notebook from scratch, a tangible reminder of the importance of slowing down and focusing on the present.
No prior experience is necessary, just an open mind and a willingness to try something new. All materials will be provided.
Learning objectives:
- Explore the power of the bookbinding craft in inspiring your creativity
- Engage in the traditional art of bookbinding as a way of relaxing and having a mindful break from your research
