Online research profiles are one of the key ways for others to find and learn about your research and wider work. They filter into search engines and AI search tools, and can be the first thing people see about you.
With this in mind, it's important to understand how to use the various online profiles and how to bring them into alignment.
In this session, we’ll talk you through the practicalities of three different profile platforms: University staff profiles, PURE research profiles, and ORCID iDs. We’ll also talk through some case studies of how some of these profiles might be used by others.
Session objectives:
- Learn about how digital research profiles work and how specific platforms function
- Gain insights into how these profiles might be used by external organisations and people
- Learn some quick tips about how to create a well-rounded profile on each platform
