Event details

Effective research communication requires high-quality, engaging content that fits its specific platforms. This practical workshop provides you with the tools to creatively think about different content types, including written and visual materials, with real-world examples to guide the process.

We will explore the concept of ‘evergreen’ content, teaching you how to design assets that remain relevant and can be reused to maximise impact while saving time. Additionally, the session will navigate the legal landscape of content creation, specifically focusing on copyright use and the specific regulations involved in running online competitions.

Objectives

  • Feel more confident creating a range of written, audio, and visual research content tailored for professional social media use.
  • Develop strategies for creating sustainable ‘evergreen’ content that maintains long-term value.
  • Navigate the legal implications of copyright and intellectual property when sharing materials online.
  • Understand the administrative and legal requirements for hosting compliant online competitions.
