PGR Milestones & Viva Preparation

These workshops, exclusive to Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs), will help guide you through the process of writing dissertations and your Thesis, and how to prepare for your Viva. We also offer workshops on how to prepare for your first TAP (Thesis Advisory Panel) and first Progression meetings. The York Graduate Research School also has dedicated webpages with more information and guidance on your Thesis and Viva.

These courses are a part of the York Researcher Development Programme, delivered and coordinated by the Research Culture & Researcher Development team, with support from colleagues across the university. Our programme is open to all Researchers at the University of York, with certain sessions specifically targeted towards Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) or Research Staff.
