Academic Writing

Our workshops cover the fundamentals of Academic Writing - planning, drafting and editing your work; support with focusing on & completing writing; and how to search literature, make your publication open access, and how to manage citations.

Postgraduate Researchers looking for Thesis & Viva support should see our Preparing for your Thesis & Viva research theme.

These courses are a part of the York Researcher Development Programme, delivered and coordinated by the Research Culture & Researcher Development team, with support from colleagues across the university. Our programme is open to all Researchers at the University of York, with certain sessions specifically targeted towards Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) or Research Staff.
