Festival of Ideas success for our Outreach microscopists

York Biophysics Outreach Team, Patrick Hunter, Katy Hollands and Sarah Graham had resounding success at the Festival of Ideas.
With support and resources from the ECRF, the outreach team celebrated the success of their stall "Seeing is Believing" on Saturday 3 June.
Over 50 attendees of all ages came to build their own DIY microscope - with just a drop of water, a flashlight and a clear tub - demonstrating the power of optics and peering into a hidden biological world.
