Accommodation for summer schools and short courses
If you're joining us for a summer school or a short course you will be able to stay on campus accommodation or with a host family in York.
Stay on campus
If you're joining us over the summer you can stay in accommodation on campus. You'll get to sample university and campus life with easy access to all our facilities.
- We'll allocate you a room in Derwent College. It's located in the middle of campus, close to your classes and social activities.
- Your accommodation will be available from the day before your course starts until the day after your course ends. If you need to arrive earlier you will need to arrange your own accommodation. It may be possible to stay in our bed and breakfast accommodation on campus.
Stay with a host family
We can also find you a host family to stay with. This is a great way to experience day-to-day life as part of a York family, as well as improving your language skills. Learn more about staying with a host family.
