Our Clearing accommodation guarantee

Our Clearing accommodation guarantee deadline has now passed (12 noon, Monday 24 August). Students who applied by this deadline and meet the full eligibility criteria are guaranteed an offer of accommodation.

If you still require accommodation for the 2026-27 academic year, please apply as soon as possible. While we still have accommodation available, options are limited. We’ll do our best to help you find university-owned and managed on-campus accommodation, or approved off-campus accommodation, in a single-occupancy room before your studies begin, subject to availability.

It can take up to 48 hours for our online accommodation system to update after you receive your You@York login details. We advise you to apply for accommodation as soon as you can.
