2024/25 applications
If you accept an offer to study at York and apply for accommodation by 5pm BST on 31 July 2024, you're covered by our accommodation guarantee, subject to you meeting all the criteria, including applying for accommodation by 5pm BST on 31 July 2024.
If you receive a Clearing offer from 15 August (UK A level results day), Clearing accommodation applications will be open. While you are not guaranteed accommodation, we will try our best to assist you in securing a room in University owned, managed or approved accommodation.

We expect to have limited Clearing vacancies for certain courses, which are likely to fill up fast. Our phoneline will be open from 8am to 6pm BST on Thursday 15 August.
Applicants must make Clearing calls themselves; we can't offer places via a parent or supporter. You'll need your results and UCAS ID, and a number we can call you back on.
