Paid opportunities for postgraduates to support access to education

Course Assistants required to support the delivery of an online course that encourages wider access to postgraduate study.

Two part-time posts have become available for students seeking a flexible job over the summer holidays. The job will involve supporting a research project that aims to widen participation in education.

If you are a student who: has an awareness of, and interest in, widening participation; is a good communicator and comfortable using social media and is a postgraduate student studying a taught Masters course (or a postgraduate student who have studied a taught masters), this may be the role for you. 

A consortium of Universities (Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Warwick and York) are taking part in a research project to study how to improve progression to postgraduate taught study for students from a wide range of backgrounds. As part of this research, the project officer for York needs two current postgraduate students at York, who can help support the delivery of an online course.

The role will include working two hours a week from 25 June 2018 to 5 October 2018.
