Event details

This session will explore what research impact is and its relevance to fellowship funding.
Aspiring research fellows are invited to consider how impact may fit into their fellowship applications, and how they might embed impact-related activities throughout the duration of the fellowship.
This event is part of York’s Fellowship Launchpad: EXPLORE series, a series of nine short online sessions (45 minutes) introducing aspiring research fellows to key fellowship topics. The series is sequential, helping you to build a strong foundational knowledge from which to start your fellowship application. Other topics include ‘Research Funding (and why it matters to you!)’, ‘Choosing the Right Scheme for your Research’, and ‘Developing a Fellowship Application: Step by Step’.
Learning Outcomes:
  • Gain understanding of research impact and why it matters to funders
  • Explore factors to consider when planning for impact in fellowship applications
